Talang Kemulun Waterfall

Sunday, January 10, 2016 we went to talang kemulun waterfall. It’s located in Talang Kemulun village, Sanggaran Agung near Lake Kerinci, Kerinci, Jambi, Indonesia. Actually, this waterfall has long been known by locals, but it was popular lately. Which is 12 levels, but my friends and I only up to the third level. Many people gone there just enjoy the waterfall.

I went there with two friends. We started from home around 9.00 am. We drive 2 scooter. It took about 1 hour ahalf to reach Talang Kemulun village from my home and if from Sungai Penuh town, it’s took 1 hour to reach there. Then, we have to parking our scooter in village and we have to pay IDR 5000/motorcycle just for parking. We started walking to waterfall, it’s took about 1 hour walking to reach the waterfall. The way to waterfall was tricky because rainy season. But we are lucky, weather supports us to reached there. Wohoo what a beautiful Sunday!!! Along the way, we met many people which is gone and back from waterfall.

When we arrived, there were already many people there and confused for a while haha  we didn”t know where should we go ? because to many people around waterfall. Then, we took a rest and looked around. Then we continued to second level and third level. It’s trekking around 10 minutes to reach it. enjoying the nature and  view, took pictures and walked under the waterfall to shower a lil bit. The water so cold . I was frezze. But it was fun! Tired but happy !

This waterfall was amazing!! Cold clear weather, fresh air, rivers, rain forest and the voice of birds singing. How can I stop loving Nature ? listen to the water sound and it always feels so peaceful. After enjoyed the waterfall, we decided to back home. we didn’t stay there for a long time, it was just about 2 hours, cause we were so hungry and forgot to bring some food, just bring snacks and mineral water.
Actually couldn’t really enjoy the waterfall because too many people around like a market. If you guys decide to go this waterfall, I suggest you to not go on Sunday if you wanna enjoy the waterfall and feeling peacefull. And Remember Don’t Litter and destroy nature, Just enjoy it.
I’ll be back to this place again

It’s been a long time :D after 5 years ago finally  back to gunung tujuh. it’s the second time I went to Gunung Tujuh. Yayy !! :D
Danau Gunung Tujuh is located in pelompek village, Gunung Tujuh district, Kerinci, Jambi within Kerinci Seblat National Park. The tallest of them rises 2732m above sea level, while lake  surface sits at 1950m. I went with friends from my village (it’s called Lubuk Nagodang). We drive 3 motorbikes and it tooks 1 hour to drive to pelompek village. Arrive in Pelompek village, we have to parking motorbike. Then we have to climb about 3 hours (it’s depend on you ) to reach Danau gunung Tujuh.
Along the route, we were treated very beautiful view. this region has a cold with a typical view of the countryside, the fields of local residents and cool tropical forest exciting to be tracked.

Since  a long time I didn’t climb, I felt so tired. So, I took a break for a while then climb again. I can’ t count how many times I took a break till reach it. Lol :D then finally I reached it yayy !!

It was really fun there ! There was part of the natural pool where we can swim. the lake so clear with fresh air and the amazing view are awesome. Really enjoyed it, made me feel so much better after we did our long trip.
Had agreat experience with friends and unforgettable. we met my another friend in Gunung tujuh, he was camping with his family for one night. His family invited me for camping one night. Unfortunately,  I can’t join their because pawel have to left kerinci to go to padang at night to run visa.

Having fun with friends is amazing!. Enjoy the nature and I’m for sure wanna go back there again to enjoy the camping.
It was one of the greates places I’ve ever visit
